New Poker Rules Go International
|
Poker pro Marcel Luske, “The Flying Dutchman,” has launched the Federation Internationale de Poker Association (FIDPA) in an effort to standardize the rules of tournament poker worldwide. Along with fellow pro Michelle Lau, Luske collaborated with Jack McClelland and Doug Dalton of Bellagio, the first place to use the rules, and the Poker Tournament Directors Association (TDA), to come up with the International Poker Rules (IP Rules). FIDPA will be seeking rooms and casinos to become officially FIDPA sanctioned poker places, such as the Bellagio, where the WPT Season Seven event, the Bellagio Cup IV, recently wrapped up.
